I am a mixed media artist from Los Angeles, California. My work is heavily influenced by where I am and the places I have lived before, including Tanzania, Kenya, India, Ecuador, Chile, Israel, Bolivia, and most recently, Washington DC. In my “day job” I am a diplomat, and the constant iterative process of moving to new places and starting over in different political and social environments plays a strong role in my prints, drawings, photographs, ceramics, and papier mache sculptures. Right now, the strongest themes in my work are nature appreciation and conservation, feeling left out or being the ‘odd one out,’ and processes of change.

In September 2016, I moved to Boston to attend graduate school.
